Missile Defense Agency Virtual Small Business Conference
May 10-12, 2022
The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP) annually hosts a conference to inform small businesses of changes in MDA policy, and upcoming procurements, and to provide small businesses with information that can help identify potential opportunities for participation in MDA acquisitions. The theme of this year’s conference is: "Focus on Foundations for Missile Defense to Support Warfighter Capability Delivery”. There will be presentations from MDA, other Government agencies, and small business support organizations. Matchmaking meetings will take place on May 12th with MDA offices, other Government agencies, and large prime contractors. To view the agenda and register click here.
DTRA-WIDE VIRTUAL INDUSTRY DAY (rescheduled from 5 April)
Want to learn more about Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) and what we buy? Join us as DTRA hosts our virtual Industry Day on 4/27/22 beginning at 8:45 a.m. and lasting until approximately 2 p.m. Times shown are U.S. Eastern Daylight Time. Dr. Rhys Williams will kick off the event with Welcoming/Opening remarks. The DTRA Senior Procurement Executive (SPE), Ms. Lisa Swan, SES, will present information about DTRA’s Acquisition needs and Small Business Achievements. Each Directorate and Special Staff Office that uses contractor support will present information about their missions, how their organizations are structured, and what types of supplies and services they acquire through contracts. There will be an opportunity for Questions and Answers at the end of each presentation. Small Businesses and Other than Small Businesses are welcome to attend this event. Due to capacity limitations, only one person from each organization may register. Registration Instructions: 1. Use Google Chrome as your web browser. 2. Go to https://osbp.force.com/EventRegistration/s/ 3. Select the Event titled “DTRA-Wide Industry Day” from the drop down menu. 4. Enter your e-mail address, Company Name, First and Last Name, and Socioeconomic Category of your firm. (You may select more than one socioeconomic category by using the “Control” key.) 5. If you have trouble registering, provide a screen shot of your error message along with the information in step 4 to DTRA-SB-Outreach@mail.mil.
Registered attendees will receive a link to attend the event 2-3 days before the event along with an agenda, a list of active DTRA contracts and a presentation about “How to do Business with DTRA.” (NOTE: the only confirmation you will received is the message on your screen when you register.)
This is a virtual event; so, you will only be able to ask questions through the chat feature. You may submit questions in advance for the Industry Day by sending an e-mail titled “DTRA 2022 Industry Day Question(s)” to DTRA-SB-Outreach@mail.mil with subject line of “DTRA-wide Industry Day Question(s).”
